A FREE 7 week class series about intent, starting September 21:
As some of you may know, I have been training under the Maker contemporary shamanic tradition for the past 6 years or so. The Makers are offering a FREE 7 week online course all about intent, and I wanted to make you aware of this opportunity. We talk a lot about intent in Circle, and so I thought this might be helpful for those who maybe don't quite understand how intent is actually an energy. Here is the info about the class called SPIRALS: Starts Tuesday September 21st, 2021 at 10:00 PM-11:30 PM ET (US) [so that's 9pm for Wisconsin folks] (7 weeks)
"This class examines in detail the ways in which our own intent and that of others impacts us in the world. It begins with an examination of what intent is exactly and how it directs our lives. We will explore the nature of intent itself as an energy and the ways in which shamans handle intent in their own lives and use it to impact the world."

September's Circle will be outside in Bay View Park:
September 24
6pm - 9pm (rain or shine)
LOCATION: Southernmost end of Bay View Park, near FBI building, near edge of bluff above the lake
We will meet at the lake bluff at the southernmost end of Bay View Park, by the FBI building (You can reference the FBI building's address at 3600 S Lake Dr, St Francis, WI in Google Maps to find the location). I'll put out the Drum Circle sign to help everyone out with navigation. Basically, you'll want to park on the FBI building side of the park and walk toward the lake bluff, near the edge of the woods by the FBI building. We're basically meeting at a patch of trees and grass in the park, overlooking Lake Michigan.
If you'd like to join us, we'll journey until about 9pm. FYI - We will have access to a discrete porta potty in the woods, if you need it.
I'm planning on bringing along a chair, my drum, maybe some bug spray, and a few things to make a simple altar space for us. If you'd like to join us, be sure to bring along something comfortable to lay or sit on, a notebook/pen, pillows, water, and/or anything else you need for journeying.
