Hello fellow Circlefolk!

I invite you to join us in Circle this Friday *outside* of the Space for Change building for an evening of shamanic drumming and journeying (rain or shine). Please bring along a chair or blanket (something to sit/lay upon), your drum or rattle, maybe rain gear, and anything else that might make you comfortable for the evening. I won’t be providing snacks or drinks, so bring what you’d like for yourself. We will have access to the bathrooms inside of the building.

We will be meeting from 6pm - 8:30pm for August, as the circlekeeper has a class to attend at 9pm. The current CDC recommendations for meeting in outdoor settings are that fully vaccinated people do not need to wear a mask outdoors... but folks are more than welcome to wear a mask, anyway, of course!

We'll also meet outside at the same place (outside A Space for Change's building) for September's Circle (Friday, September 24th). October will be outdoors, too, but I'm considering hosting it at my house in Bay View on October 22nd. No matter what location we choose for October's Circle, however, we'll definitely have a fire and celebrate the ancestors.

I'm still contemplating how we'll address the upcoming colder months, with regard to meeting in Circle. The current CDC guidelines for indoor events in our area indicate fully vaccinated folks can meet as long as they are wearing masks. I'd like to hear from you about your comfort level of meeting in-person and indoors in Circle. What kind of guidelines should we incorporate which would make you feel comfortable and safe? Shall we consider going virtual via Zoom again? Feel free to reply to this email, if you'd like.

LOCATION: A Space for Change Movement Studio & Wellness Center is located in Building 28 of the Chase Commerce Center. The entrance is near Chase & Oklahoma Avenues -- this is where the Chase Commerce Center is located. We are right by Building 28 in the grassy area under the tree. Follow the signs once you are in the Chase Commerce Center.
