Hello, good Circlefolk!
Well, we are having another Circle this Friday, June 28th, starting at 6pm. We'll be indoors this Circle. I'm thinking that all of our regularly scheduled Circles in 2024 will be indoors, and any extra-scheduled Circles will be outdoors. There's a possibility of an outdoor Circle by the lake in the evening on Saturday, July 20th. I'll officially announce it when it's official. :)
I've been out and about these past weeks, and I hope you've been doing what you want to do, as well. I also managed to find myself in the urgent care for a compressed C6 nerve at the very end of May. Thank goodness I know some decent healers. ;-) Also, Big Shout-Out to our location host, Dr. Carol Dusold of PT Plus, who's been an amazing part of my healing support team!
I'm quite well on the mend and found out during a drum-up-the-sun session during Solstice that this ole arm should be up to the task of drumming for you this Friday. However, I have not had the time or ability to record the multi-timed drum sessions for journeying, yet. I'm hoping that I can do that before August, and I'll post them on the website for you, as well as send the links via email when they become available. I'm figuring to record drumming sessions of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 1 hour. I'll be using my regular drum and will be drumming w/the intention of providing a sacred, safer, nurturing, and protective time/space for you, as I do when we are together in-person.
So, for this Circle, please bring along a bell, rattle, or another kind of noisemaker, as well as your drum, your journal, and whatever else you need to make yourself comfortable for the evening. If you don't have your own, spare drums and rattles are available for your use for the evening. This is a free community event, and heart offerings are appreciated.
LOCATION: A Space for Change Movement Studio & Wellness Center at 3073 S. Chase Avenue (corner of Chase and Oklahoma inside the Chase Commerce Center), Building 28, first floor. Enter the Chase Commerce Center via Oklahoma Avenue, and then look for the drum circle signs to direct you to the building.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at info @ drumjourneycircle.com.
Summer smiles,
