Hello Circlefolk!
First, a quick reminder that the March Circle is a bit early this month, it's THIS Friday, March 15th inside a Space for Change Studio from 6-9pm. I am very much looking forward to be in Circle with you once again.
As you know, Spring is usually the time when we begin to pull out of our slumber-y ways and begin to start feeling creative, playful... we start looking forward... and we want to grow, stretch ourselves, and bring into being new things. (If you've been buying your seeds and planning your garden these past weeks, you know exactly what I mean.) So, if you are feeling the itch to get out there to celebrate, play, and learn, I've listed a bunch of lovely opportunities that our Circle friends and I are offering, listed below.
Tuesday, March 19th 6:30pm-8:30pm - liminal/evening Spring Equinox walk, (literal) grounding, and drum journey in nature w/Holly. The Spring Equinox is at 10:06pm, but we'll say hi to Lady Spring, herself, just a little earlier. The walk from your car won't be too far, but I'd encourage you to bundle up well, as it'll be chilly. Maybe bring a warm beverage for yourself and blanket for the ground, as well. We'll meet at the Kelly Senior Center parking lot (6100 S. Lake Drive, Cudahy) at 6:30pm and leave the lot for our walk by 6:45pm. No cost.
Wednesday, March 20th - Maker's Way Healing - Entering the Spiral Class Series - a group mentorship/course offered by my friend also of the Maker shamanic tradition, Mark Hanson, starting March 20th, online weekly meetings for 3 months - $300 (As of this writing, he has 4 spots left open)
Friday, March 22nd, starting at 11am - Spring Equinox by the lake with Anna and Ali. No cost.
Friday through Sunday, April 5-7 - Sound Immersion Event - Tibetan Singing Bowl Weekend Workshop with Joe Teixeira of Namaste Imports - all weekend or partial - (sound baths, various Tibetan singing bowl workshops for all skill levels, and sales of bowls from Joe's private collection) - Cost is dependent on your amount of participation for this event.
Also, I am posting an Amazon wishlist link for The People's Free Healing Clinic collective. This is a group of healers who are providing free services, herbal remedies, and other supplies to BIPOC and trans folx in the Milwaukee area. If you'd like to make a gift donation, please click the link: AMAZON WISH LIST
Finally, I just want to take this present moment to thank each of you for being who you are and bringing what you bring to the Circle. It's a real honor and pleasure to be in such amazing community with you. And, honestly, all of that is made possible because of the ways in which you show up for yourselves and each other during our time together. The beauty, tenderness, love, and compassion that you bring each month is so heart-nourishing.
I humbly offer my gassho bow of respect to each of you,
Holly
