Lots of fun opportunities on the near horizon for you!

*Ancestor Drum Circle - This Friday, October 20th 6pm (Bay View, WI)

*Effigy Mounds Caretaking - Sunday, October 22nd 9:30am - 2pm (Beaver Dam, WI)

*November All-Day Sound Immersion Event - Sunday, November 12th - 9am - 3pm (New Berlin, WI)

Firstly, our October Drum & Journey Circle will be featuring the Ancestors. On Friday, October 20th, we will celebrate with a community ancestor altar where you are invited to bring along mementos and pictures of your beloveds. As those that have attended in year's past know, this will certainly be a special evening... and, shhhh... there may be a surprise ancestor-related gift for those who attend. We will be at our usual place, inside of A Space for Change and Wellness, from 6pm - 9pm.

Some of you may know that I've been participating in the caretaking of Indigenous effigy mounds around the Horicon Marsh area for the past number of years... and some of you have expressed interest in learning more and helping out. Well, Sunday, October 22nd is your chance! We will be working at a new-to-us effigy mound site in Beaver Dam from 9:30am to 2pm. If you'd like more information, please see this post by the Effigy Mounds Initiative administrator, Kurt Sampson on FB. He will also happily provide you with any and all questions you might have about effigy mounds!

Finally, I want to bring your attention to an all-day sound immersion event that I am featured in, taking place at the Conservancy for Healing & Heritage in New Berlin on Sunday, November 12th. This event will incorporate all kinds of sound experiences (and cyanotype art! and a cacao ceremony!) that will playfully and peacefully send you home with a fully-integrated new personal intention for the new moon. Lunch and all supplies are included in the price of $99. Seating is limited to 20. Buy your bestie a ticket, too, and spend a day of intentful self-nurturing together!

Hope to see you at one or more of these upcoming events!

Wishing you peaceful moments,

Holly
